Born in Beziers, France from a Basque mother and Occitan father, she spends her
childhood in the south of France between the ocean and the Pyrenees mountains
and starts writing poems at the age of 10. While studying Political Sciences,
she had the first of a string of hits as a songwriter for established artists,
then established herself as a singer/songwriter and recorded three hugely popular
albums. 'Ainsi soit vie' and 'Cette fille de passage' became a crowd favourite.
In 1985, in Tunisia, she meets DAVID SOUL, and moves to Los Angeles where she
recorded her 3° album: 'Dream With Me' with MICHAEL McDONALD, JAMES INGRAM,
DAVID SOUL and BARRY MANN. It went n° 2 in European and Asian charts. Between
1987 and 1997, she stayed in L.A., writing and recording with the most famous
songwriters and musicians such as JIM KELTNER, JEFF LORBER, CHET McCRACKEN ...
then wrote and produced a 'Tribute to EDITH PIAF' that included EMMYLOU HARRIS,
DONNA SUMMER, PAT BENATAR…which got worldwide attention, and a tribute to another
French cultural icon: GEORGES BRASSENS with JEFFERSON STARSHIP, BLACK UHURU,
JASON SCHEFF OF CHICAGO, MARTIKA and many others. Because of love, in 1997, she
gives up everything and comes back to Paris to settle down ... She goes on
successfully with her songwriter career and produces young talents such as
YANNICK DIAZ for EMI, IVORY NITE for East West and APOLLO SISTERS for V2. On
this album, you will discover a fine collection of the most famous duets she
has been recording and her major hits as a solo-artist. Enjoy the journey!
