Corynne Charby left her mark on the 1980s, with two major hits that
rocked the year 1986: "Boule de Flipper" and "Pile ou Face".
This cinema-lover and fan of French singer Veronique Sanson began her
career in the 1970s as a top-model. Corynne quickly graced the front
pages of several fashion magazines, including Elle and Lui. She also
became a catwalk star for fashion designers around the world.
Corynne was quickly swept up by French film directors to star in
several movies, including "Un Eté d'Enfer" with Thierry Lhermitte,
and "La Chèvre" featuring Gérard Depardieu ...
In between her hectic shooting schedule of 1984, Corynne recorded
three singles. It was her recording of "A Cause de Toi", written
by Didier Barbelivien, that first put her on the musical map.
With the success of "Boule de Flipper", composed by singer
Christophe Bevilacqua, Corynne became the most popular singer of
the year 1986.
In 1987, her hit "Pile ou Face" made its way to the first rungs
of the Top 50, presented by Marc Toesca.
On this new, unique compilation CD, you'll find the best of Corynne
Charby, compiled from her two vinyl albums released in 1984 and 1987.
Included are for the real Corynne fans, maxi versions of "Boule de
Flipper" and "Pile ou Face", as well as a Megamix Club Special
released in the 80s in a limited edition for Club DJs. This special
Megamix can be found nowhere else but on this compilation.
Discover with Choice of Music your favorite French artists of the
80s and more including Juliette Greco, Desireless, Agathe,
