It all started in 1987! Sabine Paturel went straight up the Top 50 with her first song ‘Les Bêtises’ followed by ‘P'tit Bouchon’. This was the beginning of a career with steadily increasing speed; so please; fasten your seat belts if you want to travel along... Taking a look at Sabine’s past, one spots her first steps into the biz: She attended Jean Laurent Cochet's comedy lessons as well as vocal, dance and guitar classes. Sabine Paturel is one of these special individuals, nice and a little bit crazy, always positive thinking, trying to have some fun - and to leave a few footprints here and there. As an Artist, she is an acclaimed and most popular singer and comedian. A fact everybody could witness while watching her play in the comedy ‘La Menteuse’, a fantastic production at the ‘Marigny’ theater, which made her nominee for the ‘Moliére’ Award, besides being honored with the ‘Grégory Chmara’ Award for the ‘Best Comedian’. Sabine returned to music with the album ‘Cæur Bébé’, which contained great songs such as ‘Je Craque’ and ‘Maladie d'été’. It easily went gold and was honored with the ‘Laser d’or’ granted by ‘L'Académie du Disque Français’. On stage, she took audience and critics by surprise when she played the highly acclaimed piece ‘La Mégère apprivoisée’ by Shakespeare. The critics wrote: ... Sabine Paturel is a comedian, who is heading towards a huge career! ... There was no doubt about that: Not afraid of taking any chance or challenge, she interpreted Jeanne d'Arc in ‘Jeanne et ses Juges’ by Thierry Maulnier and appeared in the musical comedy ‘Dédé’ by Albert Willemetz. Again, she convinced audience and critics likewise. Cooperating with French television, she acted in most successful TV series like ‘Cordier, Juge et Flic’ at TF1 and ‘L'Instit’ at France 2. Today, Sabine Paturel returns to all her fans with a great compilation, presenting 20 of her best songs, including some previously unreleased tracks (!). And be sure: This fascinating album is not a sudden nostalgic attack! It is the charming flashback in time and nothing less than a come-back. Into the future with the past!
